SMS01:003 Southdowns Pool Valley 1950

The second photographic view, & third postcard in our series, shows a conductor inspecting the destination screen of a 1400 series Leyland Tiger single decker alongside a Leyland TD1 open topper relief due out on the 14 service in Brighton Pool Valley in 1950 on August Bank Holiday. The view was taken by a Portslade transport enthusiast & local historian with a wealth of photographs from his serious use of his still cameras & cine films over the years. Pool Valley is no longer used as a bus station and the layout has been altered to accomodate a few coaches in that rear platform loading is now part of history. Genuine Retail Trade enquiries are welcome.
