Maidstone Trolleybus 72 Fund Christmas Card #3

More cards were found, a few of these older cards had been found while in preparation of our end of year stock check. You wont find these anywhere else!

This card was released in 2004 as the third Line-Art Christmas Greeting card published for the Maidstone Trolleybus 72 Restoration Fund. They were available in our former shopping pages and in packs of five. Previous issues have sold out & none of these have or will be reprinted again.

The Maidstone Trolleybus 72 Fund was set up by Dave Hatt & Malcolm Coates in order to generate much needed funds to source funds for the complete restoration of this trolleybus, now part of the Sandtoft Collection.

The two previously released Christmas cards generated much interest in that locals to Maidstone found that these were desirable as greeting cards for the years 2002 and 2003, with this one & later ones, 2004, 2005, & 2008, each with a print run of 4,000!

During the centenary year in 2004, a 6x4 Line-Art postcard was also published, available here as M100, yet again the artwork drawn & donated by Brian Cannell. This card is also available from Dinnages Transport Publishing, who have also released thier own Maidstone card number 13 in the postcard series in support of the 72 fund.
