M7201:013CC Restored Maidstone Trolleybus 72

This modern postcard shows Maidstone Trolleybus number 72 which was the last trolleybus to operate in Maidstone when the system closed in April 1967 and has been in preservation ever since. Malcolm Coates own view here shows the Sunbeam Trolleybus at Sandtoft in 2004, where he offered the view for this commemorative & charitable postcard.

The card was officially released to the postcard collector on Saturday 15th October 2005, at the Maidstone Vintage Toy Fair, which Dave Hatt used to organise, and was with Malcolm as the two man team raising many thousands of pounds for the vehicles restoration fund.

Genuine Retail Trade enquiries are welcome.
