A fascinating look at the development of the London transport scene complied from the OS archive notes of someone who worked in the London bus industry for 45 years, and associated with London bus industry since 1886, John Christopher Mitchell, was well suited for the task of writing a book on London Generals first 50 Fifty years which the compiling started in 1923. Copies of the papers he assembled survived in the archives of The Omnibus Society enabling this publication many years later.

We have now secured the remaining stock of this book, so its now classed as OUT OF PRINT and therefore an obsolete publication.
